Impecunious

I read this in National Geographic today. Thought it was a good word:

Impecunious : having very little or no money usually habitually : penniless

Good stuff.

    These words just show up in print at weird times and in weird places. Whenever I run across a word I don't know, it bugs me so much that I have to scramble to m-w.com to look it up. I kind of like sharing my newfound knowledge on the blog. :)
